I am working with a well known charity in Cambridge looking for support in the planning and execution of marketing strategies for their upcoming conference, ensuring effective promotion and engagement to maximise attendance and registrations. You will work on a proposal and scoping for their fundraising and marketing away day.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Support in developing and implementing marketing strategies for the annual conference and other events, including email, print, and social media campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the Events Manager and marketing workstream members to align marketing strategies with overall event goals and objectives.
  • Lead the conference marketing workstream, coordinating efforts with other departments and producing regular updates.
  • Work with other Events Officers on the conference registration process, including the testing and management of registration forms.
  • Attending relevant meetings including Events Team meetings and Conference working group meetings.
Your skills:
  • Proven experience in events marketing preferably in a similar role.
  • Understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing strategies, and social media platforms.
  • Strong project management skills for conference marketing.
  • Confident working with computers, extensive knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
