Are you an outstanding teacher looking to join an exceptional primary school in Brent? About the School: This primary school is housed in a new, purpose-built £14 million building with exceptional resources, located adjacent to a highly regarded secondary school. This provides an 'all-through' experience of outstanding education from Reception through to Year 6. The school is a three-form entry school that has consistently achieved exceptional results in Early Years, Phonics, KS1 SATs, and KS2 SATs. With outstanding results year upon year, the school continues to be among the highest-performing in Brent and significantly above the national average.

About the Role: We are seeking to appoint an exceptional practitioner with the highest of standards to teach English in this outstanding primary school. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of English at the primary level and beyond and will demonstrate the following:

  • Considerable impact in raising standards of student progress across the school in English.
  • Excellence in contributing to an interesting and challenging English curriculum.
  • Excellent behaviour management for pupils of all ages.
  • The ability to take initiative and be proactive in your teaching.
  • An understanding of how pupils learn and the ability to adapt the curriculum to suit their needs.

Our school operates differently from many other primary schools, with a curriculum based around subjects taught by specialist teachers. As an English specialist, you will be teaching English to pupils across the school, while also contributing to the planning and delivery of English teaching.
