Executive Assistant - Charity Sector

Part time (28 hours) 4 days per week

Hybrid working

£35,000 - £37,000 per annum FTE

Are you an experienced EA with a working background in the Charity sector seeking a new opportunity? We are proud to be working with a London based Charity who support women and girls affected by all forms of gender-based violence, in their search for a highly competent EA. This charities work is crucial, inspiring and life-changing and their Executives and Board of Trustee’s need an EA to match.

We are looking for someone with a wealth of EA experience supporting multiple executives, ideally from a charity setting, who can therefore understand the business model and intricacies of a national charity.

Responsibilities are varied and include high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Co-CEO’s and Directors in addition to the wider Trustee’s, whilst also maintaining excellent governance house-keeping and general office management.

Core duties will involve, but not limited to, the following:

  • Diary management
  • Collate and analyse information for the preparation of documents, reports and presentations
  • Manage and coordinate policy review cycles
  • Plan and coordinate leadership and management meetings in addition to team meetings and away-days
  • Managing multiple inboxes
  • Implementing processes and improvements to the existing administration processes to allow for efficiency and effectiveness moving forward
  • Proof-reading documents
  • Coordinate governance functions
  • Maintain accurate records of board meetings / taking minutes
  • Build and maintain relationships with third parties
  • Lead and ensure that governance related data and compliance is kept up to date
  • General office management
  • Supporting the welcome and induction of all leadership and trustee new starters

This is a new role to the charity owing to year on year growth in both their demand and their funding. It is therefore an excellent appointment for someone who is confident in both their skills and their ability to make a difference and able to do so with a seamless transition into a new and busy role.
