An industry leading and mission driven organisation are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide high level support their Global Managing Director and be a key member of the Executive Office team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a busy role where you will act as an extension of the Global MD, fully understanding the organisation and its priorities in order to support to the best of your ability. Working within the Senior Executive Team, you will act as the eyes and ears for the remotely based Global MD, you will be a vital player in ensuring their coordination and integration with Headquarters and the global team, as well as managing a small team of Team Assistants:  
  • Extensive diary management – co-ordinating internal and external meetings, often across international time zones
  • Line management of a small team of global Team Assistants
  • Travel support – organisation visas, flights, accommodation, preparing details
  • Event and meeting management
  • International travel co-ordination including visas, itineraries and transport
  • Expense management
  • Board support – scheduling meetings, minute taking
  • Ad hoc personal support
  • General admin support
WHO YOU ARE

This role requires someone who has proven experience as an EA/PA supporting at a senior level and on a 1:1 basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their EA career with management experience either professionally or outside of work. You will be someone who is able to work in an ever changing, fast paced environment and who has the gravitas to be a representative of the Global Managing director at all times.

Essential requirements:
  • 3+ years’ experience in an EA role
  • Top level communication skills and experience working with high profile individuals
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and pressured environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint


Desired requirements:
  • A second language
  • A general understanding of current affairs and politics
  • Support for the organisation and its aims
  • University degree
