PART TIME EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT WANTED

Tate recruitment are working alongside a local authority business based in Brighton. We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join the business on a 4 month contract.

Part time Executive Assistant

  • £16.63
  • 22 Hours per week (Monday to Thursday)
  • Hybrid working (one day a week from home)
  • 4 month contract available

PURPOSE OF JOB

  • To manage and co-ordinate the office of a Director to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the office through the management of other staff and co-ordination of office activities.
  • Act as the focal point for communications with the Director, analyzing issues, assessing risk and managing resolution own initiative.
  • Work flexibly, as part of the Leadership support Team, to support the shared delivery of broader service objectives and activities.

DAY-TO-DAY

  • Co-ordinate staff in the Leadership Support Team on a day to day basis to ensure support services.
  • Provide secretarial support to anticipate the business needs of the director.
  • Provide a time management/diary service, arranging and co-ordinating meetings and other appointments.
  • Booking venues, arranging any necessary equipment, preparing agendas etc.
  • Financial and budgeting procedures.

YOU WILL NEED

  • Substantial proven secretarial experience at director level
  • Experience of managing, motivating, mentoring, coaching and supporting secretarial/administrative team.
  • Experience of taking and producing accurate draft minutes.
  • Experience of monitoring budgets, investigating and resolving anomalies with the relevant Finance department staff.
