Exhibition Sales Executive - European Green Energy Exhibitions

Basic salary up to £38,000 + Commission + Benefits

London Office - Hybrid Working (3 days in the office) + Travel

Full-time, permanent position, June/July Start date

The Opportunity

  • This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B Sales professional to join an established B2B events company in one of their fastest growing events teams.
  • You will be selling exhibition space for European Green Energy exhibitions.
  • The team is launching several new European events and is looking for additional exhibition sales to support the growth of these new launch events.

The role

  • You will be responsible for driving revenues by selling exhibition solutions to clients.
  • Sell exhibition space at large-scale B2B events that are held across Europe.
  • Research and generate new business, increase sales pipeline and bring on new clients.
  • Continually develop your industry knowledge and become a market specialist in the sector.
  • Write and post regularly on social media, especially LinkedIn.
  • Attend and pitch clients over the phone and through face-to-face meetings
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in other departments; sales, marketing, production, editorial and operations to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised.
  • manage your sales pipeline and keep your team updated on your sales and prospects.
  • Attend your events and assist/support onsite where needed

What Skills & Experience Are We Looking For?

  • You’ll be looking for a sales career in b2b event.
  • Ideally, you will have circa 12 months of transferable sales experience gained in events sales, recruitment consultancy, media / advertising sales, IT sales
  • Have an interest in business, enjoy communicating and are enthusiastic to learn new information
  • Outstanding communication skills, written, face-to-face and over the phone
  • Be able to sell, be organised, ambitious and articulate.
  • You will be pro-active in your approach to selling, persuasive & confident
  • You must be hard-working, committed, and a team player
  • Enthusiastic and self motivated
  • Can meet and exceed sales targets
  • Able to work in a professional office environment
  • Fluent in English, additional languages that would be beneficial Italian, German, Spanish, and Portuguese.
