Responsibilities:

As an Operations Administrator/Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and efficient communication within the company. This role is a 6-12 month maternity cover fixed term contract. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Order Management:

   • Serve as the primary point of contact for both customers and suppliers.
   • Receive and provide daily updates on orders, ensuring timely communication.
   • Maintain accurate records of order status and delivery timelines.

2. Supply Chain Coordination:

   • Update spreadsheets with new delivery dates received from manufacturers.
   • Proactively inform sales team members of any potential delays.
   • Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to optimize supply chain processes.

3. Effective Communication:

   • Prioritize emails and calls promptly, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
   • Maintain professional and efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders.

4. Reporting:

   • Prepare weekly reports for customers, providing updates on order delivery progress.
   • Highlight any significant developments or challenges.

5. Collaboration and Adaptability:

   • Work well both independently and as part of a team.
   • Collaborate with colleagues across different levels, including directors.
