Remedy Recruitment Group are currently on the lookout for a Experienced Social Worker for a Family Safeguarding Service based in Wiltshire.

Swindon Borough Council currently require Experienced Social Workers within the Family Safeguarding Service. The team work within pods to optimise the management, oversight and support to all Social Workers. There are 5 Social Workers and 1 Manager per POD.

Social Workers must have with experience and skill to:

* Undertake comprehensive assessments including parenting assessments in a timely way to inform development of outcome focused care plans with Children and their Families.

* Undertake care proceedings within the court, both private and public.

* Initiate and complete within court timescales and achieve permanency plans for children including adoption.

* Understand and respond to complexity of risks and are required to evidence on records, including providing analysis of their interventions with children and families.

You will need to be:

  • SWE registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
