Are you an experienced teacher with QTS, looking for a flexible teaching work? Perhaps you have been a primary teacher for a while and now you are seeking a more day-to-day supply approach to your teaching career? GSL Education are currently recruiting an experienced Supply Teacher for local primary schools in the Bournemouth area.

As a Supply Teacher, you will be covering for teachers who are absent. The schools promote values such as respect, collaboration and aspiration to the students. The schools all recognise the value and uniqueness of each individual child and adult alike. While the schools primarily cater to mainstream education, you may be called upon to teach classes and provide support to students with Special Education Needs. Therefore, any prior experience or knowledge of SEN is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate for a Supply Teacher role will have the necessary experience, love and patience for children and the enthusiasm to help them reach their full potential in their care. This position offers a flexible teaching opportunity, with the potential for a permanent position should you seek a full-time teaching position in the future.

Any teachers interested in this opportunity are required to:

  • Hold a PGCE /QTS
  • Be confident in their behaviour management skills and be able to adapt to different school’s behaviour policies
  • Be prepared to cover a range of subjects and year groups

  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
