Teaching Assistant

Academics is looking for the right candidate to support a small number of students in accessing a broad curriculum in the role of Teaching Assistant in the North Wolverhampton area.

The Role…

  • Is at a school that values their teachers. For candidates whose performance demonstrates their ability then there is always room for progression.
  • Will provide a high level of support and guidance.
  • Would support an experienced candidate or someone looking to forge a rewarding career in Education.

The Teaching Assistant should…

  • Have studied ideally to A-level, with a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Maths
  • Have competent IT skills
  • Have some previous experience of working with young people
  • Have experience of behaviour management and techniques
  • Be willing to learn
