Original Talent Recruitment are pleased to be partnered with a well known freight group in their search for an Ocean Export Coordinator

Our client is an established business with over 40 years experience across Air, Road, Sea, Imports, Exports, Customs Clearance and Warehousing.

Ideally you will have experience in an Exports role but we will consider someone with experience in Imports, Freight, Logistics, Shipping, Road Freight, Air Freight, Sea Freight and Customs Clearance.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Oversee and manage operational needs across the business
• Use internal systems to complete export documentation
• Organise daily workload to stick to timeframes
• Keep customers up to date on any shipment delays
• Keep on top of documentation to ensure a smooth efficient process
• Liaise with suppliers and hauliers on shipments
• Oversee shipments from start through to completion including, quotes, invoicing and the shipment
• General administration duties
• Prepare documentation for clearances and liaise with HMRC

Ideally you will:

• Have experience in a similar position or at least industry exposure
• Be able to communicate with third parties including overseas clients
• Be pro-active
• Have experience in using the following systems: CNS, Destin8, Cargowise, Serquoia or equivalent
