Export Manager

• Location: Liverpool City Centre 
• Salary: up to £49,000 + car allowance

We are seeking an Export Operations Manager to lead our Export Operations team, providing exceptional solutions and service to both clients and internal customers. This role involves procuring and developing freight services, training and developing teams for operational excellence, and meeting all internal and customer KPIs on service and financial requirements.

• Create and develop skills and knowledge within export sea freight to support high service levels
• Encourage the team to find the best solutions for customer service and profitability
• Support the teams in delivering information, visibility, and support to customers and internal stakeholders
• Define budgets and managing P&L for the branch
• Communicate effectively with management and sales
• Develop new and improved services and products
• Drive continuous improvement programs for internal & external stakeholders
• Escalation point for service failures or challenges
• Work closely with the leadership team to define strategy, improve service and solution design, and set financial targets
• Drive a results driven, KPI focused team culture

• Minimum of 5 years of logistics experience
• Proven track record in operations management
• Experience in managing people
• ISO quality competency
• Strong ICT skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle pressure and ensure good time management
• Adaptability to change and effective teamwork
• Enthusiasm, flexibility, and the ability to motivate people
