External Sales Representative

Are you passionate about sales and building strong customer relationships? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and excel in face-to-face interactions? Our client is seeking a dedicated External Sales Representative to join their team and contribute to their growth.

Main Role and Responsibilities:

As an External Sales Representative, you will work closely with the regional sales manager to organise face-to-face visits through an agreed call plan. Your primary responsibilities will include developing strong relationships, maximising the potential of live accounts, reactivating lapsed accounts, and creating new accounts through self-generated leads or those forwarded by the internal sales team.

Industry Requirement:

The ideal candidate must have experience in the metals industry. Knowledge of industry-specific products, market trends, and customer needs is essential to excel in this role.

Main Duties

  • Visits, tracks and maintains customer base in assigned territory

  • Provide Best-In-Class customer service in accordance with the objectives of

  • Interface with customers in assigned territories, including, but not limited to, generating sales and profits from assigned customer base

  • Process customer orders (When required)

  • Provide feedback to Management and Administrative Department

  • Assist in maintaining A/R integrity with all customers in assigned territory

  • Execute Management strategy for sales development

  • Timely responsiveness to action related e-mails

  • Participates in departmental and/or other company meetings
