EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Gateshead

Salary: £75 - £100 per day

Start: ASAP/September 2024

GSL Education is looking for a motivated and skilled EYFS TA to work at our client school in Gateshead. This is a fantastic opportunity to encourage and assist young students in their early educational years.

Job Summery: As an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and education of our youngest learners.

EYFS TA Role:

  • Assist the EYFS teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the individual needs of each child. 
  • Support the development of children's social, emotional, and academic skills through a range of activities and interventions.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and respected.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement exciting learning experiences that inspire curiosity and exploration.

The successful candidate will:

  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting (preferred).
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or education (desirable but not essential).
