Full-Time Early Years Primary Teacher

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire (NN2)
Contract Type: Full-Time, 1 Term (with potential for extension)
Start Date: September 2024
End Date: December 2024

The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Early Years Primary Teacher to join our team for the Autumn term (September 2024 - December 2024). This position is full-time and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our youngest learners. There is potential for the role to be extended, either on a temporary or permanent basis, depending on performance and school needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pupils.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support to promote their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Early Years/Foundation Stage.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in young children's lives.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate pupils.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the latest educational practices and resources.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
