EYFS Teacher - Stockport

Who we are looking for:

Are you a dynamic and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) educator seeking a new opportunity within a reputable 2-form entry school?

Our partner school in central Stockport seeks to appoint an accomplished Class Teacher to join their vibrant EYFS department. This role will entail assuming the responsibilities of the Reception Class Teacher for the entire academic year 24/25 starting from September covering a maternity leave. Collaborative support will be provided by the parallel Teacher and Teaching Assistants.

The school aims to enlist an outgoing educator possessing great behaviour management skills, committed to fostering a collaborative environment whilst promoting the growth and development of the Reception class children. Furthermore, the school aspires to engage an individual to facilitate the enhancement of their outdoor forest school area and bring this vision to life.

Essential Criteria:

  • QTS status - both experienced teachers and ECT's welcome to apply
  • Experience in EYFS or Year 1
  • Teaching experience in the United Kingdom or delivering a British curriculum is advantageous.
  • Inspirational and highly effective in the classroom
  • Great behaviour management
  • Able to contribute to, and work, as part of a team
  • Creative in their approach to children’s learning
  • Reliable and flexible to suit the expectations of the school

  • This advert is for a temporary position for the full academic year. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available later.
