Early Years Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school in Brent. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with early years children, demonstrating a passion for fostering a creative and nurturing learning environment.

Day to day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within their class.
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages children to enjoy learning.
  • Assess and record each child’s progress, ensuring that each child progresses academically and socially.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to support the children’s learning and development.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and apply it effectively in the classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching practice and contribute to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience as an Early Years Teacher.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
