EYFS Teacher - Blackburn:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Blackburn, covering a maternity leave. The successful candidate will have QTS with expertise in Early Years education and a strong understanding of the framework.

The Role:

  • Inspire and nurture young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage, fostering creativity and curiosity
  • Planning and delivering engaging, play-based lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of the pupils
  • Promoting social, emotional and academic development of every child in your care
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to create a nurturing, stimulating learning environment

Position Details:

  • Location: Blackburn
  • Position: EYFS Teacher
  • Type of Work: Temporary/Maternity Leave
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Hours: 8am-4:30pm
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £160 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this position
  • An excellent understanding of the Early Years framework and curriculum

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
