Educate GM’s are recruiting an EYFS teaching assistant to join their partner school in Stretford, Manchester.

You will join a successful and thriving school at the heart of the community where children excel. The Principal is passionate about fostering child-centred learning and is looking for idea candidate that shares this ethos. You will need to be energetic and nurturing with exceptional communication skills.

You will be working alongside an experienced class teacher, helping prepare lesson materials, set up and tidy the classroom. Daily tasks include supporting children with their physical, emotional and academic development. The school is passionate about staff development, and you will be supported to excel in your role.

The role is full-time, for the full academic year and will commence from September 2024, with the possibility of a permanent position becoming available the following year. This fantastic opportunity will pay £85 - £95 depending on experience

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Level 1-3 Teaching Assistant Qualificationor working towards this.
  • Experience in teaching in EYSF and/or KS1/2.
  • Passion for working with small children.
  • Compassion and patience.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Great behaviour management.
  • Positive attitude through challenging times.
  • A genuine passion to support each child to reach their true potential.
  • All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
