We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team in Warrington. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for working with young children and possesses significant experience in supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN) students. The position is full-time, from Monday to Friday, lasting for the remainder of the academic year with potential for extension.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of daily activities that support the EYFS curriculum.
  • Provide tailored support to SEN students, ensuring their learning and development needs are met.
  • Collaborate with EYFS teachers to plan and execute lessons and activities that engage all learners.
  • Monitor and record students' progress, and contribute to their assessment reports.
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external SEN professionals.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, specifically within EYFS and with SEN students.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Childcare or related field.
  • Understanding of EYFS educational practices and SEN strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and child development.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo this procedure.
