EYFS Teaching Assistant
Empowering Learning are currently looking for a EYFS Teaching assistant to work with a school based in Esher. The role is a long term position starting September.
As a EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to do the following.
- Communicating effectively with teachers/children about any concerns or issues
- Risk assessing the environment and responding accordingly
- Observing behaviour, intervening and addressing when necessary, reporting any safeguarding issues through the correct channels.
- Getting the classroom ready for lessons.
- Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks.
- Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records.
- Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour.

EYFS Teaching Assistant Job Requirements
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Level 2 or 3 EYFS qualification is essential
- Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or overseas Police clearances (if applicable)
- Primary Education experience
