EYFS Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Opportunity from September 2024

Accelerate Teaching is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a small primary school in Batley. This full-time TA position starts in September 2024 and offers a rewarding opportunity to support early years education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to children.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Utilise effective strategies to enhance early literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Be able to work indoors and outdoors in all conditions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in an EYFS setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A commitment to creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of young learners.
  • Experience of phonics and be able to support the class teacher effectively with this.
