EYFS Teaching Assistant - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant who specialises in early years to join a school near to Preston. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible.

The Role:

  • Providing specific support and intervention for children across all curriculum areas
  • Leading groups in activities for core curriculum areas such as phonics, reading, writing and maths
  • Working with individuals on learning and development activities
  • Preparing learning resources and activities within the setting
  • Carrying out assessments and recording information
  • Assisting in the daily routines for the children

Position Details:

  • Position: EYFS TA
  • Location: Preston
  • Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience working with early years in a school setting
  • Relevant qualification in Early Years

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
