F & B Warehouse Manager

Highly regarded Food & Beverage company based near Newquay, Cornwall are looking to recruit a permanent Warehouse Manager.

This is a a fantastic opportunity to join their busy Logistics team, to become a permanent part of a successful Cornish business, and to make your mark in this exciting role as Warehouse Manager .

Duties & Responsibilities

• Have a focus on Health and Safety, setting the example to the rest of the team and adhering to accepted procedures to reduce unwanted events and accidents.
• Responsible for the overall successful running of all warehousing and storage for the Company, both on site and off site (as needed).
• Oversee all goods in and goods out for the site, leading a team to achieve the logistics plan.
• Lead your team in their daily activities, ensuring all required tasks are completed and records are up-to-date.
• Provide other internal departments with the best service possible when it comes to kitting materials to production, supplying finished goods to other internal customers.
• Implement and deliver continuous improvement to the daily processes to enable the warehouse team to operate as efficiently as possible.
• Own the training and development of your team, ensuing they are compliant and safe to work at all times while identifying opportunities for further training/upskilling as it arises.
• Any other activity/task as and when requested by the Management

Experience

• Warehouse management
• FMCG environments
• Seasonal demand/control experience in a process manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in leading, training and motivating a varied team
• HACCP / Quality System experience
