Fabric Technician

Venn Group are working with a Higher Education in London to recruit for a Fabric Technician.

Hourly rate: £18 per hour through an umbrella company

Length: rolling contract

Location: Central London

The successful candidate will:

  • work with the Facilities team on all installation, maintenance, modifications of all building structures and fittings
  • assist in the preparation and implementation of planned maintenance routines and carry out reactive tasks
  • assist in the production of Planned Preventative Maintenance records (PPM)
  • be fully conversant with statutory and site-specific Health and Safety Regulations
  • provide assistance to all Trades/Crafts/ Apprentices

The successful candidate will have:

  • Similar experience in a Facilities/Building Maintenance environment
  • Completed a recognised building trades apprenticeship, preferably in Carpentry and Joinery with supporting qualifications
