Fabricator/Welder

URGENTLY required for a privately owned a precision engineering company based in Oldham, providing specialist precision engineered Sheet Metal & Fabrications for the Aerospace, Nuclear, Pharmaceutical, construction and Food industry sectors.

The company has been established for almost 90 years and their success has been based on providing the best support and services to some of the North’s biggest names in manufacturing. Due to business demand they need to urgently recruit a skilled fabricator/welder.

Skills/experience

Must be proficient with both Mig & Tig welding processes.

Excellent fabrication skills, in building box sections, vessels, structures to a high standard.

Able to use saws, press brakes, rollers, etc

Must have the ability to read and work to drawings to a high standard

Experience of working with stainless steel and general engineering practices

Ability to work to precision tolerances.


The successful candidate will be required to work day shift 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8am - 3.30pm overtime available.

A very competitive salary of up to £18 per hour dependent on experience is offered.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful and busy company. In return the company offers a competitive hourly rate +site bonus after qualifying period, 33 days holiday including statutory.
