Fabricator / Welder
The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a Fabricator / Welder to work for an established, growing business in the Fleetwood area.
Fabricator / Welder salary: £31,800
Fabricator / Welder hours: Monday - Friday between the hours of 7am - 6pm
(37.5 - 40 hours per week)

Fabricator / Welder Roles and responsibilities: Actively Learn all aspect of maintenance department
- Participate in, on the job training
- Attend all H&S and business-related course & briefings
New build fabrication
- Design and build new kit as required
- Modify existing kit
Breakdown and Repairs
- Welding repairs to machinery in workshop or in production areas
- New fabrication additions to existing machinery
New systems installation
- Work as part of the engineering team on new installation work
- Build new kit to assist in installations
- Modify kit as required
Administration
- Help with the preparation and implementing training for, Risk Assessments (RA),
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Preparing Method Statements for tasks and jobs in production areas
Fabricator / Welder Qualifications / Experience Required:
- Competent at welding
- Effective Communication Skills between all levels within the business
- Time Management - ability to work to set deadlines
- An understanding of health and safety requirements and implementation in the workplace.
- Ability to work as part of a team and confident / competent to work as an individual.
- Microsoft Office Skills (Excel & Word proficient), Outlook Express (Task and Diary management)
- Welding qualification
- Previously worked in a Food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of food safety.
- Training towards or achieved CIEH Level 3 Awards in Food Safety
