Facilities Administrator - Temporary

(3 Months) - £13/hour PAYE

Location: Plymouth (Office Based)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 (Flexible)

Rate: £13 per hour (PAYE)

One of Plymouth’s best employers are looking for a Facilities Administrator to join their friendly team on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months to support with staff absence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop filing systems (both manual and electronic) and carry out general admin tasks including photocopying, scanning, and shredding of confidential documents
  • Handle telephone calls, direct enquiries, and take accurate messages
  • Provide an accurate typing service for correspondence, memos, spreadsheets, and minutes
  • Manage meeting room and conference suite bookings, including meet-and-greet duties and room setup
  • Attend meetings to take and distribute minutes, ensuring confidentiality
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Issue and log ID cards and keys for staff and contractors
  • Assist with stock control and replenishment of refreshment supplies
  • Provide cover for light pottering tasks when required

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Officer Administrative experience
  • Understanding of Facilities Management
  • Friendly, approachable, and easy-going
  • Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role (this won’t be a desk job all day!)
  • A good communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Flexible and happy to take on a variety of tasks- not just administration
  • A holder of a full UK driving licence
