Facilities Co-ordinator

Our established client, based in Biggleswade, are looking to recruit for a Facilities Co-ordinator to join their team. 

Your objective: Enable the operations and use of community facilities.

Position: Temporary

Hours: 20 hours per week, part time, must have flexibility to cover weekend/  evening work if needed.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Carry out the implementation of cleaning standards in community facilities.
  • Promote principles of customer care, equality, quality management and good health and safety standards within the desginated establishment.
  • To prepare areas in the facility for use.
  • To work with and aid different partners of the business in delivering services. 
  • Supervise the smooth running of events and deal with customers needs.
  • Manage scheduling systems.
  • Reguarly carry out inspections of the premise.
  • Be the facilities duty First Aid Appointed person and Fire Warden.

Skills and Experience

  • Hold a First Aid Appointed Person Certificate and have Fire Warden Trraining, or be prepared to undertake necessary training.
  • Experience in building cleaning procedures, materials and equipment.
  • Experience in the caretaking of a multi-use building.
  • Experience in communicating and dealing with customers directly.
  • Be self motivated and able to work well under pressure.
  • Have experience of using computers, sending emails and keeping administrative records (desirable).
  • Hold a personal drivers licence (desirable).
