We are now looking for an experienced Facilities Management Officer to oversee the effective maintenance of our buildings across Scotland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, development and operation. You will need to be able to scope, cost and deliver projects under the direction of the Senior Facilities Management Officer. This will include doing any necessary drawings and consent paperwork required experience of CAD would be preferable but not essential.

You will assist the Senior Facilities Management Officer in the development, updating, management and effective implementation of the organisation’s long-term planned preventative maintenance programme as well as providing advice and support to operational managers on property related matters. This is a varied role, and you will need excellent organisational skills combined with flexible and positive approach to ensure that the facilities in our operational services are maintained and improved as safe and comfortable environments for those who use them.

You will need to demonstrate that you have good communication and interpersonal skills and are able to prioritize and manage multiple projects. This role will require travelling to services as necessary.

Ideally you will have a qualification in and experience of Building related matters e.g. Surveying or Facilities Management.

This role also attracts a car allowance.
