About our client:

Our client is a large UK cloud-based software provider, offering a suite of award-winning software solutions to the financial services industry.

As the Facilities Manager, you will oversee the management and maintenance of all office locations in the group. Collaborating with the leadership team, you will contribute to optimising office space utilisation and ensuring that all facilities meet the operational needs of our client's staff. Your responsibilities will include managing ongoing maintenance and facilities services, ensuring a safe and productive working environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our client's office strategy.
  • Develop and manage budgets for facility operations and office-related spends.
  • Oversee maintenance of all office facilities, managing suppliers to deliver quality services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective facility management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practises.
  • Create engaging and conducive office environments for staff and customers.
  • Lead and develop a facilities team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate productivity and support business projects.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Experience planning and overseeing projects, repairs, and facility upgrades.
  • Vendor management experience, including negotiating contracts and managing service providers.
  • First Aid and Fire Marshal trained.
  • NEBOSH/IOSHH certification desired.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Experience with budget development and cost management.
  • Understanding of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365, including spreadsheets for tracking maintenance schedules.
  • Experience in managing teams and supervising contractors.
  • Multi-site experience.
