My client, a successful food manufacturer, is looking to recruit a Facilities manager for their warehouse set up in Portbury, Bristol. 

As the successful Facilities Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of my clients facilities at Portbury, including a cold store Warehouse that runs at -23 degrees) ensuring they are functional, safe, and compliant.  You will support my clients transition to new facilities over the coming years, driving cost-efficiency and aligning with our organization's business objectives.

Keys skills required for the role:

  • Facilities management experience
  • H&S accreditation such as NEBOSH or IOSH
  • Good financial and budget understanding
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Warehouse management / Cold Store experience
  • Understanding of engineering helpful

This role is a Monday – Friday role, salary £45-50k DOE, site based, benefits includes comprehensive training program, 25 days annual leave holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays (+ option to buy 5 additional days per year,) 4% matched pension contribution, entry to the company bonus scheme, free lunch, snack and beverages, retail discounts, free car parking, free turkey (or voucher) at Christmas and much more!

This role is commutable from Somerset, Gloucester, Wales, Cardiff, Newport, Cheltenham, Bristol, Weston Super Mare and may suit a person that has previously worked as a Warehouse manager, Cold Store manager, Facilities, Storage Manager
