Factory Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the formulating/completion of the daily production schedules across high risk, low risk and despatch departments.
- Evaluating the performance of supervisors and team leaders against designated instructions.
- The overall monitoring of stock levels to ensure correct production is achieved.
- Liaising with supervisors, team leaders and production leads to monitor quality issues so that standards aren’t compromised.
- Training/retraining where required and involvement with recruitment for factory staff.
- Ensuring comprehensive traceability control.
- Ensuring residual control is maintained and monitored effectively by supervisors and team leaders.
- Ensuring production targets are being hit and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
- Liaise with relevant personnel to resolve non-conformances or process deviations and effect corrective action following root cause analysis where applicable.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Managerial experience within a food manufacturing business
- Experience within a hands on production position.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant food industry regulations and standards e.g. HACCP and BRC.
- Able to be flexible with overtime.
