The Opportunity: The firm is currently seeking a Family Solicitor with 1-3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) and a strong background in legal aid to join their esteemed team. The successful candidate will primarily handle domestic abuse cases, with the opportunity to also manage other areas of family law, including divorce and separation, financial remedy, co-habitation, children matters, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. This is a full-time, in-office position, so candidates must be comfortable working on-site at their Ilford office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a varied caseload of family law matters, primarily focusing on domestic abuse cases.
  • Handling other family law areas, including divorce and separation, financial remedy, co-habitation, children matters, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
  • Providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and success of the firm.
Candidate Requirements:
  • 1-3 years PQE in family law with a strong background in legal aid.
  • Comprehensive experience in all areas of family law, including public and private law children matters and financial proceedings.
  • Ability to attract their own following is advantageous.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
