Join a traditional law firm cemented in the local community. Established in the early 90s the firm has grown steadily since and developed with the times for both their employees and clients. With staff retention being so high, this is a lovely opportunity to work within a welcoming team with a great culture.

Due to increase demand in work, we are on the hunt for a qualified solicitor with Legal Aid experience. Join a small but dedicated team, this is your chance to make a real difference within the firm and community. You will work closely with the HOD and have the chance to have your voice heard when discussing changes in how the team runs. 

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years PQE, however do not be put off if you fall sort of this requirement, we would still like to hear from you! 

General Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for running a caseload of public and private family matters (Majority being public work) 
  • Family, Domestic Abuse, Non Molestation Orders and Children Law experience is vital.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with clients ensuring a professional service and excellent client care standards
  • Attend court hearings, prison visits, police stations and any other off-site requirement
  • Conduct your own advocacy
