Title: Family Solicitor
Location: Cheshire
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000

A well-established and independent market town practice, founded in 1997, is seeking a dedicated Family Law Solicitor to join their esteemed Family Team. Known for delivering high-quality legal advice in Family Law, Commercial & Residential Property, and Wills, Trusts & Probate, this firm prides itself on ensuring everyone has access to justice. The practice is recognised for its expert legal advice, client care, and excellence in service delivery, with numerous accolades and accreditation's from esteemed legal directories and associations.

The role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who value customer service and possess a hands-on, flexible, and can-do attitude. The successful candidate will manage a full caseload of family law matters, including financial remedy claims, divorce, civil partnerships, pre/post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, and TOLATA cases. The role requires extensive experience in financial remedy claims and court advocacy. Additionally, involvement in practice marketing and staff events is encouraged, fostering a friendly office environment with a family feel.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years PQE with previous experience handling a diverse family law caseload.
- Proven strength and experience in financial remedies.
- Extensive experience in financial remedy claims, divorce, civil partnerships, pre/post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, and TOLATA cases.
- Experience in court advocacy.
- Membership in a legal panel or working towards panel membership (Law Society advanced panel, Resolution accreditation).
- Strong organisational skills with demonstrable STA and Lexcel procedural compliance.
- Extensive customer service and/or client-facing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Outlook (emails, appointment booking, etc.), and case management systems; additional database knowledge or experience is advantageous.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Professional, confident, personable, and approachable demeanor.
- Positive, productive, and proactive work approach.
- Ability to use initiative and undertake new tasks.
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills.
- Smart and presentable appearance.
- Knowledge of legal aid is preferred but not essential (training provided).
