Job Title: Family Lawyer Location: Sussex or Kent (any office location) Salary: Starts at £45,000 Job Reference: 37111 Our Client: A reputable and expanding law firm Job Description: Our Client is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload, provide supervision to junior team members, and contribute to the continued growth of the Family department. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a full caseload of privately and publicly funded family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy, children disputes, and domestic abuse cases • Provide supervision and support to junior team members, ensuring high standards of work • Ensure compliance with all relevant family law regulations and maintain a high standard of client care • Actively contribute to the development and marketing of the Family department to expand its client base and services • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, counsel, and other professionals Requirements: • A minimum of 3 years' PQE in Family Law, with a solid track record in both private and legal aid matters • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is desirable • A proactive approach to business development and marketing, with an interest in growing the department • Excellent communication, advocacy, and client care skills
