We are partnered with an exceptional FAST (Family Assessment and Support Team) in the East Midlands, where they take pride in their outstanding Ofsted rating and their status as having the second-best staff retention rate in all of England. The Role:
As a Social Worker in our FAST team, you will:
- Handle a manageable caseload: Benefit from a balanced workload that allows you to provide high-quality support to families.
- Engage in varied and impactful work: From assessments and safeguarding to court proceedings, work on short-term family assessments as well as long-term Child and Family Plans and Child Protection Plans.
- Perform critical legal work: Complete pre-proceedings work and issue care proceedings, ensuring the best outcomes for children and families.
Hybrid Working:
We offer flexible hybrid working arrangements to support your work-life balance, with an expectation of regular office days to facilitate team collaboration and integration.

- Contract Stability: This position is a maternity cover so can provide some long term locum stability.

- Degree in social care
- Social Work England Registration
- Experience in Child Protection
