As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide tailored compassionate care in various settings, supporting individuals to live independently and with dignity within their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to individuals in schools, supported living, residential settings and individuals’ homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and promoting independence.
  • Work with individuals with learning dissabilities, autism, severe mental health, challenging behavior, and eating disorders.
  • Support individuals in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all service users.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in healthcare.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred but not mandatory if five years of experience).
  • Valid driving license (manual preferred).
  • Experience in schools, supported living, and residential care.
  • Training in PMVA, and PBS (preferred).
  • Clean Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Ability to handle last-minute changes and cover shifts on short notice, showcasing calmness and efficiency in dynamic healthcare environments.
