Female PE Teacher - Portsmouth

Prospero Teaching are working closely with a mixed secondary school in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

The school have are looking for a temporary Female PE teacher to join them in September 2024 n a long term basis. The role is likely to be until Christmas 2023 ( Autumn term) and potentially longer.

The school has very supportive department and PE is a popular subject in the school.

This opportunity would be ideal for an Early Career Teacher wanting to gain more experience before applying for permanent positions.

If you are also an experienced teacher wanting a better work/life balance, this could be ideal for you.

CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location - Portsmouth, Hampshire
  • Position - Female Teacher of PE
  • Contract or position start date - September 2nd 2024
  • Duration / Likely Duration - One term
  • Full time/part time - Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Paid to scale
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 3pm, plus parents' evenings, department meetings and extra currcular activities

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS (PE)
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
