A Female Rehabilitation Support Worker is required to join a specialist case management and rehabilitation company providing Support Work, Case Management, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Medico Legal services to children and adults across North East England, North West England and Scotland. We are driven to help our clients recover skills lost through complex life-changing conditions, so they can live meaningful, rewarding lives.

You will be working 22 hours per week (plus 2 sleep per week) and will receive a salary of £12.00 per hour, along with generous mileage rates, a pension scheme, time off to give blood and a supportive & friendly working environment. 

What you’ll do as Female Rehabilitation Support Worker?
You will be required to work with a lady with cerebral palsy in her own home and the community, as part of an established team. You will be supporting in attending regular swimming lessons, as well as going out for coffee and people watching. Our client is a very cultural person, enjoying attending art classes and theatre shows, and this post will ideally suit someone with similar interests. You should have previous experience of working with people with disabilities, and full training and supervision will be given. 

We’re looking for a Female Rehabilitation Support Worker with:
  • Previous experience of working with young adults with a disability.
  • Driving licence and car owner is essential.
  • You should be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course)
