FGAS Technician

Wild Recruitment are supporting a fantastic client based in Milton Keynes with their search for a FGas Technician to join their friendly family-run business.

The main function of the role is servicing and repairs of the equipment that has been returned by the customers.

Role Responsibilities

• Undertake full range of equipment servicing and repairs.

• Analyse and report equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Detail all findings, action required and parts used on service/repair spreadsheet including full customer details.
• Ensure effective stock movement process with parts used.
• Provide product and application technical support to customers.
• Carryout any customer training of service/repairs as required.
• Support customer technical queries including attending site when necessary.
• Provide cover & support for warehouse function as required.
• Maintain the warehouse (goods in/out) as part of the cover role.
• Liaise with General Manager on stocking requirements/levels.

Required experience: -

• Repair, maintenance, or installation of technical products experience.
• FGas registered and familiar with air con or fridge systems.
• Re-gassing equipment and ability to solder.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering positive results.

• Salary from £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
