The Role: Fibre Splicer

Location: Birmingham

Duration: 4 weeks

Start Date: Monday 8th July

Rate: £280 per day (Outside IR35) - Must have your own Splicer + Tester.

We're looking to bring in a fibre splicer to work on a fibre installation project for a sporting arena in Birmingham.

Working as part of a small team, we're looking for a couple of experienced splicers to join the project which will be end to end installation, termination and testing of single mode fibre cables.

It's essential you have the IPAF 3b qualification along with a good eye for health and safety, alongside a flexible attitude to the working day to fit in with the customer requirements.

Exposure to fibre blowing / jetting is a bonus.

This could potentially lead to ongoing work across the country, as the project is using some innovative technology (Training will be given) that is potentially part of a national roll out programme.

Contract roles are LTD company and have been classed as outside IR35.
