Salary Package
60k - 70k base + Commission + Car Allowance + Pension + 25 days holiday

We are excited to present our new Freight Division, based at London Gateway, Essex. This will be a new department with ambitious growth, we are looking for an experienced Field Sales Profession with Air and Ocean Fright experience, to be the foundation for our journey and the beginning of our growth. The Freight Sales Executive is critical for the growth of our Global Freight Forwarding BOB within the related Branch Office.
Our ideal candidate will ideally have Air and Ocean Freight experience, you will be a strong business developer and ideally have a few established contacts to bring with you. You don’t have to tick every box to be our perfect candidate, our recruitment team are keen to speak to experienced freight professionals who are up to the challenge of shaping this new venture.
- Manage Book Of Business (BOB) ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue and Margin
- Develop and implement a personal sales plan and call cycle that incorporates initiatives for building the relationships necessary to gain new business. This is a majority hunting role however there will also be a requirement to support existing customers where appropriate.
- Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities with prospective new customer accounts initially targeting the SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) businesses to exceed targets.
- Responsible for achieving or exceeding monthly targets and KPI’s.
- Be compliant to company policies and processes.
- Grant constant growth of the customer composition of the above: Hunting as % of Farming
- Undertake market analysis and competitive research in the local market
- Liaise with Branch Operations in order to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs
- Assist BOB clients in their day by day requests related to export/import quotations/negotiations in order to ensure proper opportunity closing
- Liaise with DPW internal Network and external Partner Agents in order to guarantee the best possible service assistance to working opportunities.
- Work with the CRM system in order to properly manage personal pipeline and record activity that will be base for Field Sales Incentive Scheme.
- Stay updated about local regulations, industry, new practices and any enhancements
