Are you a Service Engineer who loves being out in the field? Whether you're a well-seasoned Field Service Engineer or relatively early on in your career, we need you to service, repair and install our market leading industrial saws and storage equipment. Based from home, you'll be the face of our company covering a territory within 2 hours.
 
BASIC SALARY: Up to £35,000
 
BENEFITS:
· Realistic overtime available up to £45,000

LOCATION: Our UK office is based in Milton Keynes, but we're relocating to Leicester this year. You'll be based from home as a Field Service Engineer.
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: You'll predominantly be covering East Anglia, the Midlands the South.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer - Machinery, Capital Equipment
 
As our Field Service Engineer you'll be responsible for visiting our customer sites and carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), carrying out repairs when machinery breaks down and installing and commissioning new equipment.
 
As we've been around for 180 years, you'll be working on a wide range of our equipment, from legacy equipment, to the most modern and cutting edge (pun intended!) saws currently on the market.
 
As our Field Service Engineer you'll:
· Run diagnostics work - extending to PLC controls
· Modify equipment to adhere to specific customer order
· Support at our head office from time to time, repairing / refurbishing machinery
· Maintain excellent customer service at all times
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer - Machinery, Capital Equipment
 
You're likely to be an Electrically biased Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer and you'll hold a relevant qualification. Whether this is City and Guilds, HNC / ONC or equivalent, we don't mind.
 
We're open to your background, however, it is highly likely you come from heavy industry and be used to working in such engineering environments.
 
You'll also:
· Have an understanding of PLC controls to a basic fault finding level
· Possess strong interpersonal skills
· Be flexible for the odd overnight stay away
· Hold a full UK driving license
