Job Opportunity: Field Service Engineer

A leading company in the construction and recycling machinery industry is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in plant machinery maintenance and repair.

• Equipment Maintenance:

  • Perform routine maintenance and breakdown repairs on a range of machinery, including Hyundai, Terex, Sennebogen, and other recycling and waste machinery.
  • Handle warranty and damage repairs.
  • Conduct site visits across various regions.
  • Provide clear and detailed reports of work performed and necessary repairs using an engineer iPad.
  • Ensure 100% recovery of managed tasks.

• Vehicle and Communication:

  • Maintain the company vehicle and report any defects.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

• Diagnostic Tools:
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software for engine diagnostics.

• Extensive experience in the plant industry is essential.
• NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
• Preferably holds a CSCS card.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and software, including engine diagnostics.
• Capable of thriving in a busy and ever-changing environment.
• High attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Dealer experience is preferred but not essential.

• Good general education, including proficiency in English, Maths, and IT.
• Valid driving license.

• Manufacturers training will be provided.
• Full in-house system training will be provided.
• Tool allowance of £40.00 per month.
• VW Crafter Van with racking and specialist tooling provided.
• Company mobile phone.
• Company laptop and/or iPad.
