Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a West Yorkshire based engineering company to recruit a Field Service Engineer.

This is a hands on technical Field Service Engineer position, providing installation and maintenance of complex, engineered equipment.

Salary: up to £46,000 p.a

Location: Field/Home and Head office based -50% travel with a focus in the UK & Europe

Duties of the Field Service Engineer include:

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
  • Manage allon siteinstallation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems quickly, determine and initiate best practice solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Follow all filed procedures and protocols
  • Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organisation
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings

We would be keen to speak with Field Service Engineers with the following:

  • HNC, HND, BTEC level 3
  • Background in Engineering
  • Significant proven field service experience
  • Strong levels of experience within the Mechanical Engineering field
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment with no supervision
  • Ability to work flexibly and efficiently, able to adapt quickly to changing work schedules
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
