About you:?
This person is the front face of the organisation to the clients and users calling for technical IT support. They provide a critical point of communication and contact for the whole IT organisation between themselves and their clients.
The role of the Field Service Engineer is to primarily assist the customer to find the solution to any problem or question they need help and guidance with. We can turn a customer's bad day into a good day by providing a first-class service that really makes a difference!
This position will involve being an on-site presence within client environments
If you are an experienced Onsite or FS Engineer who can provide first class technical support and advice, then this is an excellent opportunity to progress your career.

Day-to-day, you will:?
• Respond to client requests for onsite assistance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues, while maintaining ownership of incidents and status updates according to KPIs.
• Conduct site inspections, feasibility studies, and apply technical knowledge to practical problems, proactively managing all incidents and new requests individually and as a team.
• Handle technical functions, including testing equipment, repairs, and supporting engineering projects, working with supplier support to resolve complex technical issues.
• Troubleshoot operating system, hardware, and application issues on desktop devices, documenting all work thoroughly in the ITSM solution and updating the Service Desk system with status, workaround, and resolution details.

Your skills and experiences might also include:??
• PC technology experience - Windows OS (W10 and newer), and MS Office, along with experience in supporting and configuring desktop devices in distributed environments.
• Understanding of Citrix Environments, M365 (Apps, InTune, Azure, ASR, AMD), Windows Server Environments, and ITIL Framework.
• Experience with mobile devices and technologies, as well as commercial hardware from major vendors (Dell, Cisco, HP, Palo Alto).
• Strong customer relationship skills, excellent customer-facing and collaborative abilities, and strong analytical and technical skills balanced with effective communication with technical and managerial staff.
