I am seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer for my client that are at the cutting-edge of technology in their industry, covering the Oxfordshire region. This role is critical in maintaining and repairing their technical equipment, ensuring it operates optimally to support our clients' needs.

My client is a large organisation within the Medical Device manufacturing industry, focused on developing cutting-edge technologies to improve healthcare services. With a global presence, they are renowned for their high-quality engineering and manufacturing operations, and are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients.

Description

  • Perform on-site technical support, including installations, deinstallations, relocations, certifications, and repairs, adhering to customer service level agreements.
  • Investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide remote support for technical issues reported by customers.
  • Prioritize, plan, and execute field corrective actions, upgrades, and preventive maintenance to ensure business continuity for our customers.
  • Inform and prepare customers for successful installations, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and data entry in service management systems.
  • Manage personal planning, administration, and car stock efficiently.
  • Escalate and retain ownership of technical challenges until resolution.
  • Comply with all quality, ISO, GMP, and safety regulations, upholding BD's commitment to excellence.

Profile

You will ideally be an experienced Field Service Engineer, or maintenance engineer looking for a change, as well as:

  • A recognised qualification in Engineering (i.e HNC, HND etc.) or time-served
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Practical knowledge of computer systems, mechatronics, pneumatics is advantageous
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A willingness to travel across the Oxfordshire region (M40 Corridor)
