Fieldwork and Admin Executive

Salary up to £25k pa

Full-time permanent role - 37.5 hours per week

Based in Sawston, Cambs. Some travel may be necessary to offices in Bury St Edmunds

Interested in food, cooking, shopping, trends

Car owner, car driver very useful

Responsibilities

Receipt, storage, and packing of products for fieldwork

Liaise with courier companies

Maintain hygiene standards for storage of fresh and frozen foods

Full administration of testing programmes

Assist the Fieldwork Manager as required

Key Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the day to day receipt, storage and despatch of all products associated with fieldwork tests.
  • To be responsible for the Packing area, ensuring that all fridges and freezers are in good working order and monitored regularly to ensure they are adequate for the company’s needs.
  • To be the first point of contact with designated couriers and to monitor progress of all deliveries and collections.
  • To forward plan the receipt and storage of products from suppliers in accordance with given instructions, ensuring that appropriate storage space has been made available and that sufficient time has been allocated for any re-labelling or pack splitting required.
  • To maintain appropriate hygiene standards at all times, handling food products within Health and Safety guidelines.
